Attend our next Guide Dog Information Session in Launceston

An older woman is sitting relaxed on the floor and has her arms around her large golden Labrador, who is sitting and looking at the camera.

Merran, with Guide Dog Leo

Guide Dogs transform lives by providing freedom, independence and confidence to many Tasmanians living with blindness or vision impairment. Join us for an Information Session for Guide Dog Services, where you’ll have the opportunity to listen to and speak with a Guide Dog Instructor about how a Guide Dog could help you in your day-to-day life. Our staff can also assist with any NDIS Guide Dog related questions on the day.

You can apply for a Guide Dog from Guide Dogs Tasmania if you:

  • Are at least 16 years of age
  • Meet the criteria for legal blindness
  • Area a resident of Tasmania

If you meet the criteria and are interested in finding out more, come along to this free session and have all your questions answered. If you would like more information on how a Guide Dog might help you, visit our Guide Dog Mobility page.

My Guide Dog has given me the licence to be free and mobile again” – Merran Thurley, Guide Dog handler.

RSVPs are essential, by Tuesday 3 April, 2018.
