Scammers pretending to be from Guide Dogs Tasmania have posted on Facebook.
A member of the public has notified us that a scam was posted on Tuesday 17 September on the Hobart Community Facebook page.
In the post the scammers advertised a range of services and requested sensitive personal details such as bank account details. A link to a fake job advertisement was also included. The post has since been removed.
Please note that Guide Dogs Tasmania will never post on social media requesting sensitive personal details. If you do see something suspicious on social media, please do not click on any links.
